Aysha van de Paer has spent twenty years in finance and has invested several million of her own savings.

It did not start well. At sixteen she walked into a bank, was put into their typical funds, and her portfolio was down about ten percent two years later.

Later, after losing her husband Karl in 2017 to a road accident, she completely revamped her finances while raising two young children alone.

She is a Swiss citizen who grew up in French-speaking Switzerland and now lives in canton Zug after having spent 10 years in Zurich, so she knows the local rules from the inside.

She has also lived, worked and studied in five countries, New York, Dubai, Amsterdam, Munich and the UK, which is exactly why she understands cross-border investing the way expats actually experience it.
